Sunday School

GRC’s Sunday School program is designed to deepen children's understanding of Scripture, offering a Bible-centered approach that emphasizes the truths of God's Word. With a focus on rich theology, we aim to nurture a strong foundation in the Christian faith, helping children grow in their knowledge of God’s plan of salvation. Through engaging lessons and thoughtful teaching, we guide students of all ages in exploring the depths of biblical truths and their relevance to everyday life.

  • Preschool (ages 3.5-6) and Early Elementary(ages 6-9) classes use ‘The Biggest Story’ curriculum from Crossway to explore the Old and New Testaments in a hands-on and engaging way. Each week, students learn a Bible story that teaches them a Biblical truth about God or creation.

  • Upper Elementary students (ages 9-12) progress through the ‘Truth:78’ curriculum. This course focuses on deepening students' understanding of the stories and concepts they are already familiar with, encouraging a richer exploration of biblical theology basics

  • MS/HS (ages 12 and up) use ‘The Gospel Project’ from Lifeway as a launching point for deep discussion. This study is a Christ-centered, chronological Bible analysis that guides learners in exploring the grand narrative of the Bible—God’s mission to redeem His people through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Fellowship Meals

In conjunction with the observance of the Lord’s Supper ordinarily on the first Sunday of  every month, following the worship service we enjoy a fellowship meal together with seasonal themes.

Bible Study

As a time of informal group singing, prayer and Bible study, we enjoy fellowship together bi-weekly on Wednesday evenings in member’s homes.

Women’s Fellowship

Meeting monthly, the purpose is to provide a regular forum for group fellowship among the women of the church; coordinate social functions of the church; minister to the widows of the church through visitation and communication with the deacons for various needs; and promote opportunities for service to other individuals, families, and organizations.

Catechism Classes

The pastor, in conjunction with the parents, instructs the youth weekly in Biblical doctrine and our Confessional Standards, as well as in church history.

Family Visits

The pastor, elders, and deacons  engage annually in family visits, informally meeting in the homes of each family in the congregation, focusing on a particular passage of Scripture, and seeking to edify God’s people through reading, prayer, counsel, encouragement, and admonition.
